Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

The side branches in this polymer are randomly connected to each other and create a very irregular shape. In this material, the number of branches are more and longer and the molecular chains are further apart from each other, so the amount of crystal (crystallinity) and density in this category is lower than other grades of this material. This low density polyethylene LDPE produces a very flexible material with unique properties. In most cases, LDPE polyethylene is used to produce packaging, polymer sheets and various types of polymer films (air film).
